The FFVII files don't even show up when I go to open them through the emulator.Ĭrash Bandicoot had three files when I extracted it: "Crash Bandicoot. I can find the links if they are necessary. If it helps, this is where I downloaded 1.8.0, the games on the other hand I think I download from kickasstorrents or something similar. I used the Nero to extract the info from my copy of FFVII and have it place a ISO version of it on my HD. So i've decided to make a back-up copy of the game, an ISO. Well my problem is that I want the ePSXe to run my games without me having the game inside the disk drives. Have I done something wrong? Are there extra plugins, bios, patches or whatever I need to run these two games? 1.) 'Run CD' 2.) 'Run ISO' 3.) 'Run PS-EXE' 4.) 'Run BIOS' etc. I have been searching for the last few days to see if I could fix it myself, but I've had no luck. I thought at first it may just be a bit slow, but I left both games "loading" for over an hour each with no progress. In case youre running the game from an ISO file. I open them and they go to a black screen, like it's about to load, but nothing happens. Then, you could try to disable MDECs, since some games crash when they try to show the opening movie. On the other hand, I recently downloaded one Crash Bandicoot ISO and Final Fantasy VII three 'disc' set ISO which do not seem to load. I had ePSXe 1.7.0 and updated to 1.8.0 recently.īefore I only had Castlevania: SOTN (which is an ISO) which worked perfectly and still does work with 1.8.0. I'm really new to this whole emulator thing, so please excuse me if I say something incorrect. ![]()
